Jesus Faces Temptation - March 6, 2022

Today is the first Sunday of Lent, which is a special season for growing closer to God and preparing for Jesus’ resurrection on Easter. In today’s Gospel, Jesus is strong in the face of temptation. We are challenged to be strong, too, during Lent and every day. How can we can imitate Jesus these next 40 days? The church suggests three ways: prayer, good deeds, and sacrifice (or giving something up). What will you try this week? God bless you this Lent!
