"The Boy Who Cried Wolf" is one of Aesop's Fables. It tells the story of a shepherd boy who repeatedly tricks nearby villagers into thinking a wolf is attacking his flock. When a wolf actually appears and the boy calls for help, the villagers assume it's another false alarm and ignore him. Consequently, the wolf eats the sheep.
