Having a fast heart rate (over 100 beats per minute) is called tachycardia. We first need to differentiate between the feeling of a fast heart rate and the feeling of heart palpitations. They can feel very similar at times. However, you can measure your heart rate by feeling your pulse to check for your precise heart rate. Heart palpitations may feel like your heart is temporarily speeding up or slowing downâor they can feel like your heart is flipping and flopping. The following are potential causes of tachycardia: 1. Alcohol 2. Sugar 3. Low potassium 4. Low magnesium 5. Low vitamin B1 6. Stimulants, such as caffeine 8. Anemia 9. Dysautonomia - stress 10. Excessive exercise 11. Too acidic 12. High or low blood sugar The best remedies to help promote a healthy heart rate are: ⢠Breathing exercises ⢠Celery ⢠Avoid carbohydrates and sugar ⢠Long walks ⢠Avoid EMFs If youâre not already on keto and intermittent fasting, check out some of my other videos.
