Mass September 24, 2023 – Twenty-fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time
In the first reading, the Prophet Isaiah proclaims that God’s ways are not our ways, and his thoughts are not our thoughts. In the second reading, Saint Paul writes that he longs to be with Christ, yet he wishes to remain on earth in the flesh to minister in his name. Today’s Gospel passage tells of the vineyard owner who hired labourers at various times throughout the day and yet at the end of the day he paid them all the same. Jesus teaches that God rewards generously those who place their trust in him. Permission to stream the music in this service obtained from ONE LICENSE, License No. M-401918. All rights reserved.
