Catching Octopus in the Atlantic Ocean | World Theme Travel | #PickedDocumentary

“Nouakchott” is the capital of Mauritania and a port city near the Atlantic Ocean in northwest Africa. The sight of around 6,000 boats lying on the shore is something to behold. It’s not easy for a small boat that fits only 3 to 4 people to go through the rough waves into the ocean. The water comes inside the boat because of the rolling waves, so as we scoop it out, we move towards where the fish trap is set. The octopus inside the fish trap is so strong that it won’t get off the people. We experience catching octopus with the fishermen of Mauritania after going through the rough waves of the Atlantic Ocean. ▶️ Show: World Theme Travel – Visit to the 4 Countries of the North Atlantic - Episode 2: A Desert Train Ride to the Sea ▶️ Air Date: 29 Mar 2016
