Heavenly Father, as I begin this day, I thank You for the gift of life and the opportunity to serve You. Today, the Church commemorates St. John of Kanty, a model of humility and charity. May his example inspire me to live a life pleasing to You. Amen. Bible Verse Philippians 2:3-4 "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others." Lord, grant me the grace to embody the humility and selflessness exemplified by St. John of Kanty. Intercessions Lord, help me to practice humility in all my interactions today. May I see Your image in everyone I meet. Lord, hear my prayer. Inspire me to acts of charity and kindness, following the example of St. John of Kanty. Let me be a beacon of Your love to those in need. Lord, hear my prayer. Grant me the wisdom to balance my duties and responsibilities with compassion and understanding. May I serve others with a joyful heart. Lord, hear my prayer. Strengthen my faith, that I may remain steadfast in my commitment to You, even in times of trial. Let my life be a testament to Your grace. Lord, hear my prayer. As I prepare for the celebration of Christ's birth, purify my heart and mind. May I welcome Jesus with the same devotion and love that St. John of Kanty had for You. Lord, hear my prayer. Concluding Prayer Heavenly Father, through the intercession of St. John of Kanty, I seek the grace to live this day in humility, charity, and unwavering faith. Guide my steps, enlighten my mind, and inflame my heart with love for You and for my neighbor. As I approach the joyous celebration of Christmas, prepare me to receive Your Son with a pure and open heart. I ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
