Ingredients: ✔ 1 cup whole mix lentils ✔ ¼ cup red kidney beans (rajma) ✔ 4 cups water (for soaking & boiling) ✔ 2 tbsp butter + 1 tbsp ghee ✔ 1 medium onion (finely chopped) ✔ 2 medium tomatoes (pureed) ✔ 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste ✔ 1 tsp cumin seeds ✔ 1 tsp red chili powder ✔ ½ tsp turmeric powder ✔ 1 tsp garam masala ✔ 1 tsp coriander powder ✔ Salt to taste ✔ ¼ cup fresh cream ✔ 2 tbsp kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) ✔ Fresh coriander for garnish Instructions: 1️⃣ Soak & Cook Dal: Soak black lentils and rajma overnight. Drain and pressure cook with fresh water for 15-20 minutes until soft. Mash slightly and keep aside. 2️⃣ Prepare Masala: Heat butter & ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds, then onions. Sauté until golden brown. 3️⃣ Add Spices & Tomatoes: Stir in ginger-garlic paste, followed by pureed tomatoes. Cook until the oil separates. 4️⃣ Simmer the Dal: Add cooked dal, mix well, and let it simmer on low heat for at least 30 minutes.
