How DO Vietnamese people celebrate the Lunar New Year 2022? | Tết Festival in Vietnam 🇻🇳

Hey everyone!!! I'm Trang and originally from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This Lunar Year Festival I traveled 7,000 miles to go back home to Vietnam. The Lunar New Year or Tết, as we call it in Vietnamese, is the most important holiday in our culture. It happens once a year in January or February, depending upon the lunar calendar. This year it's the year of the tiger and Tet began on February 1st of 2022. In this video, I share with you what customs and traditions for Tết our home participates in. We begin at the wet markets of Saigon, to paying our respects to our elders at a military cemetery, and then celebrating past midnight to food, drinks and fireworks. Finally, we visit our relatives and dear friends. I'm thankful to be here and cherish my time with my family. I excited to share more of my story. I wish everyone a healthy and prosperous new year!!!
