Trendy Crochet Cardigan Tutorial

It could even pass as a store-bought cardigan! It uses the lemon peel stitch, but it can easily be swapped out with an easier stitch like the double crochet. It is very simple and cozy and I hope you enjoy this tutorial! Materials: Bernat Softee Cotton Yarn in "Seaside Blue": https://amzn.to/3RRJD8b Weight: Light (3) Fiber: 60% Cotton, 40% Acrylic Approximate total length: 1270 yd / 1160 m Approximate total weight: 21 oz / 600 g 5.0 mm Clover Amour Crochet Hook: https://amzn.to/3noE9mz Yarn Needle Scissors Project Level: This project is pretty big, so it isn't ideal for an absolute beginner. I do go over every new stitch that we do, so it definitely is possible! Most of the stitches used are beginner level. We do, however, do some sewing to put the panels together! Another option would be to slip stitch the seams together instead! Stitches: Slip Knot (sk) Chain (ch) Double Crochet (dc) Front Post Double Crochet (fpdc) Back Post Double Crochet (bpdc) Slip Stitch (sl st) Single crochet (sc) Gauge: 9 lemon peels (18 sc+dc) - 16 rows = 4 in / 10 cm Dimensions: Sleeves - 19 cm/7.5" wide x 40 cm/15.5" long Back Panel - 38 cm/15" long x 44 cm/17.5" wide Front Panels - 38 cm/15" long x 19 cm/7.5" wide Tips: Tighten your slip stitches to make the seam smaller and less visible The chain 1 at the beginning of each round does NOT count as a single crochet Pull your loose ends to the inside of the cardigan and weave them in (or leave them hanging!)
