Deinonychus By its name, you probably can see it is a kind of dinosaur. The Deinonychus was a large and quick dinosaur known for its sharp claws and impressive hunting abilities. With its size, speed, intelligence, and adaptability, was a cruel hunter in its ecosystem. But the good news is The species became extinct around 115 million years ago. 1:11 9. Helicoprion The Helicoprion was a prehistoric carnivorous creature known for its deadly spiral-shaped jaw, that existed like million years ago. It had numerous teeth in its curved jaw.
