Fallout: New Vegas -Dead Money Grande Finale- Heist of the Centuries #newvegas

With all of our companions being located the Finale can come to a close. This means we will be facing Elijah very soon. As the stories and lore begin tying up the loose ends so does our story of our time in the Sierra Madre. Now that Christine has allowed us to finish her mission we will be making our way down into the Sierra Madres most hidden treasure. Its vault. It wont be easy though. Security is still active and it looks like the barriers from old world blues have decided to make an appearance. We have to navigate around these barriers as none of the weapons we have now can open the force fields. The holograms are also still active much like the rest of the hotel weve been through. Once arriving to the vault we see multiple terminals. one will disengage vault security protocols and the other one is the most important story in the whole Sierra Madre. Within the vault is Sinclair's last Message to Vera. It ties up the ends of the story but also shows us in the end Sinclair was a pretty good guy. He wanted very much to get revenge on Dean but was able to understand Vera's position on being blackmailed. In the end he was truly trying to keep Vera safe. As we know now though the emergency broadcast never went out in the way he imagined it would. Vera was also never able to get to the vaults safety. We are left to wonder if it would have mattered in the end. Had she gotten to safety would her illness just take her? would she be forever stuck in the vault waiting while the wrong broadcast beckoned to the irradiated land? I find it most likely had she gotten into the vault her death would have been the same because she had plenty of med x down there too. Sadly we dont know the possibilities just the actual events. Vera never found the vault or Sinclair's last words. With the lore and the past in the past its time to engage the present by finally talking to Father Elijah about his actual goals. He hasn't explained why he wants this old world Casino. With the cloud making it toxic and the structural integrity starting to crumble in some areas I have alot of questions as to why he even came here. With a bit of coaxing in some aspects we are able to get Elijah to open up a little about his plans. He sure does have it all figured out too. He wants to use the Madre as a Citadel using the cloud to preserve and cleanse his horde of old world tech. He also wants to use the vending machines to produce things. Im unsure where materials to craft some of these items would come from but it doesn't sound like he care if this new brotherhood are volunteers or not. Since he mentions the Collars many times. He also wants to use the unruly holograms in battle, which would actually work in some ways. The only real issue I have is he would like to trap me as he was trapped. I cannot have this. We can trap Father Elijah in the vault forever but that seems worse then facing him. Its fitting for what he has done and wants to do with me but I am not Elijah. After we take care of him we have to run out of the vault. all the way back how we got in. all while our neck beeps. This the the final stretch though so once we make it out our collar will finally be deactivated for good. When we arrive back at the fountain no one is there. Dog and Christine have escaped. Hopefully to a better beginning. So thats what Lady Chicken Nugget will do too. Its time to leave withour freedom the true Heist of the Centuries. As usual Thanks so much for watching. This was an interesting one. I was very hesitant on how Dead money would go as it was one of the harder DLCs for me back in the day. I think our Courier did alright though and she can return to trying to make the wasteland a better place. I hope you will join me then.
