✅ TYPES OF FETAL POSITIONS ✅ Explained in 5 Min or Less

🍼🧸 Fetal Positions, Presentation, and Station 🧸🍼 👉What is a Fetal Presentation vs. Position vs. Station? 👶 Presentation: Fetal Presentation is the part of the fetus (head, buttocks) that enters the birth canal or "Presents to the World" first. 👶 Fetal Position: There are many different letters (ROA, LOA) that can describe the position of the Fetus. 🔥Here are the Steps I made up to determine the Fetal Position. Note: These steps are also included in my OB-Maternity or Ultimate Bundle. Step 1: (R) or (L): is the presenting part on the right or left side of the maternal pelvis? Step 2: (O), (S), (M), (Sc): what is the presenting part? O: Occiput "Head First" S: Sacrum "Buttocks/Feet First" M: Mentum "Chin First" Sc: Scapula "Shoulder First" Step 3: (A), (P), or (T) (A) anterior: is baby's back towards mom's belly? (P) posterior: is baby's back towards mom's spine? (T) transverse: is baby sideways? 👶 Fetal Station: the relationship of the fetal presenting part (head, buttocks) to mom's ischial spines. ✅Positive: +1, +2, +3. Positive News that "Baby is Coming". Presenting part BELOW ischial spines. ❌Negative: -1, -2, -3. Negative News. Presenting part ABOVE ischial spines. 🔥If you liked this review, either check out: ⭐️Nursing Notes at: www.etsy.com/shop/BeautifulNursing ⭐️Free Nursing Tools: www.BeautifulNursing.com #nurse #nursingschool #nursingstudent #obmaternity #obnursing #obmaternitynursing #obnurse #Nclex #Nclexprep #maternalnewborn
