Relieving pregnancy tension headaches 🤍

2nd trimester tension headache relief: • deep breathing/meditation • 30 minutes of restorative yoga - focusing on chest opening and relieving tension in neck/shoulders • heat pack for neck/shoulders • increasing water intake • monitoring caffeine consumption • increasing daily protein intake • aiming to improve sleep • resting and relaxing more instead of ignoring my body’s cues For me it’s mostly poor sleep, diet, and stress induced. I am keeping an eye on blood pressure and going to chat with my midwife next week. Overall, it’s been the most active and fulfilling pregnancy.
