ANNOUNCEMENTS – October 30, 2022 – 31st Sunday in Ordinary Time

Welcome to All Saints Catholic Church. We are grateful to have you as part of our vibrant parish where we love God, love others, and make disciples. This weekend we celebrate the 31st Sunday in Ordinary Time. Our celebrant is Msgr. Joseph K. Ntuwa. This Tuesday, November 1st is the Solemnity of All Saints, a holy day of obligation. We will have Masses at 9 AM and 6:30 PM. It is also our parish feast day, so we invite you to join us after the 6:30 PM Mass for some refreshments, hosted by our hospitality ministry. Children and youth are encouraged to come dressed as your favorite saint! On Wednesday, November 2nd, we celebrate the Commemoration of All Souls. We will have one Mass at 4:00 PM. For those mourning the loss of a loved one, All Saints is holding a GriefShare session on Surviving the Holidays on Saturday, November 12, at 9am. This Sunday, all youth grades 9-12 are invited to celebrate the Catholic Roots of Halloween, the Vigil of All Saints Day, from 4-6:30 PM. Learn more about the influences of Catholic traditions with food, games, and firepit stories. You can register online. Bring your friends! First Friday Adoration is on November 4, with Mass at 9AM followed by Adoration to 1PM. Help feed hungry neighbors this Thanksgiving. The Knights are holding a Gift Card Dropoff here at All Saints in Hampstead on Saturday, November 5, at 9AM to 3PM. Harris Teeter gift cards are a particular need. All Saints Moms Group is holding a Bible study in the gazebo on Sundays at 10AM, using the book Rediscover Jesus by Matthew Kelly. Finally, Christmas will be before we know it! Join us on December 18th for a Carols & Lessons service here in Hampstead, where we will listen to Scripture and sing our favorites carols and songs in preparation for Christmas. We are putting together a Children’s Christmas Choir specially for this event! There is a signup sheet in the Narthex, or you may register your children online. Please contact Ryan Mulder with any questions. For more about activities and ministries here at All Saints, check the bulletin, the gathering area, or the parish website.
