NO FEE Index Fund for 2020 to Invest in

The BEST S&P 500 Fund for 2020 with NO Fees is the new Fidelity ZERO Large Cap Index Fund FNILX. They charge $0 fees while offering exposure to the S&P500 for long term profits. FNILX literally charges ZERO fees which is incredible! To learn more about FNILX go here: http://bit.ly/30Jcuzl Our goal this video is to get 500 LIKES and to share this video with a friend who is considering getting started in the stock market! One of the biggest issues with investing in index funds vs individual stocks is that 99.9% of these funds charge you a Management Fee. Depending on the fund and the company running the fund - like Vanguard, iShares, Blackrock - these fees can range from something low like 10 basis points to a couple of hundred basis points! Even a 50 basis point fee will end up charging you tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dollars over the long term. So as someone who wants to invest in the stock market, who wants to gain exposure to the 7% gains YoY, but who also wants to reduce risk as much as possible by diversifying - what are your options? Up until now I have been a HUGE fan of Vanguard with their VOO ETF that tracks the S&P500. VOO gives you a balance of exposure to the stock market, gives you the ability for 7% annual gains YoY, and, it reduces risk as it's diversified across 500 companies however the drawback is that they do have a management fee of 0.03%, and although this is significantly better than competing S&P500 ETFs, this can still add up to a few thousand dollars over the long term in fees. So ideally, we want what VOO offers us in terms of exposure, but we want to eliminate that 0.03% fee - and I have found the perfect solution. Enter the "Fidelity ZERO Large Cap Index Fund" FNILX This fund has been around for 1 year and it's a NO fee fund - meaning $0 and 0% fees - that tracks large cap companies. Although it's not an official S&P500 fund, it does state that it invests in the top 500 largest companies in America, essentially meaning the S&P500. Comparing FNILX to SPX, the weightings are very similar, there's a few differences here are there which is expected with any fund trying to replicate the S&P due to weighting of capital, but for the most part, it's close, and your performance should be fairly in-line with the actual S&P500 over the long term. When we compare the top 10 holdings of each, I did notice a few differences, which is something to note. The top 5 holdings for both are in line, however the bottom 5 is where things get a little different. JNJ, JPM, and GOOGL are included in both, however, XOM is wighted in the top 10 in the fidelity fund, vs including PG in the actual S&P. This could change over time with re-balancing and isn't much of a concern. FNILX was created 1 year ago and this vs the S&P500 performance and it has been in line. We have minor deviations from time to time, however, for the most part, it has tracked the SPX fairly closely, giving me confidence that this is a solid option for investors looking for an S&P500 fund to invest their money into. Funny enough, since inception, FNILX is beating the S&P500, up 2.68%, where the SPX is up 1.10%. Over the long run however, I think they will be more or less the same so I wouldn't focus too much on this short term performance. Unlike VOO or VTI from Vanguard, which are ETFs, the FNILX from Fidelity is actually a Mutual Fund. Because it's a MF, you can purchase fractional shares in ANY broker - so you don't need something like M1 Finance. There's also no minimum investment required. The negatives however is that some brokers charge you a higher commission for MFs (and free ETFs) and MF's are settled after the market - so you can't buy or sell on the spot like a stock or ETF. This isn't a big deal for a long term investor but it's something to make note of because it is a key difference vs an ETF like VOO. #Fidelity #FNILX #SP500 #PositiveInvesting 🔴 VIP Membership Group 🔴 View my portfolio & every single trade I make!
