How to Make an Easy Paper Boat – No Glue Needed | Shimu Craft & Art Making a paper boat is a fun and simple origami craft that requires just a single sheet of paper. Follow these easy steps to create your own floating paper boat—no glue or scissors needed! Materials Needed: A rectangular sheet of paper (A4 or any size) Step-by-Step Instructions: Fold the Paper in Half Take the rectangular paper and fold it in half lengthwise. Crease the fold well and then unfold it. Make a Triangle Fold the top corners of the paper down to meet in the center, forming a triangle at the top. You will have a small rectangular strip left at the bottom. Fold the Bottom Edges Fold the bottom strip of the paper upwards on both sides, wrapping it around the triangle. Tuck the corners in for a neat look. Open the Triangle into a Square Hold the center of the triangle and gently pull it apart, forming a square shape. Flatten it properly. Make a Smaller Triangle Again Fold the bottom corners of the square upward to form another triangle. Open and Flatten into a Square Again Like before, open the triangle into a square shape by pulling its sides apart. Final Boat Shape Hold both top layers and gently pull them apart. A paper boat will take shape! Adjust the folds to make it stable. Now, your paper boat is ready to float! This easy origami craft is perfect for kids and beginners.
