Twenty-Third Sunday in Ordinary Time (year c), Sunday 4th September, 2022.

Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you (Psalm 32: 9). The second reading tells us that it requires divine wisdom to understand that the cross comes before the crown. We need to know that those who pursue their own agenda, end up loosing everything. Obviously, to be a true disciple is learning the way of Jesus, and this requires divine Wisdom. PRAYER FOR THIS WEEK I pray that God who is gracious and compassionate will bless you and keep you safe from every danger. May you love, know and experience God more, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
