Bottle Rockets
Try building this water powered rocket and learn about the science behind a rocket launch! 🚀 👉🏻 YOU'LL NEED: Bicycle pump Water Plastic 2L soda bottle Duct tape Ruler Hammer Marker Nail Ball pump needle Cork Scissors or a box cutter Cardboard 🌊 How the rocket flies ⤵️ We pressurize the bottle with air supplied from our pump. The water acts as our propellant. Due to Newton's 3rd Law— for every action (force) in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction—the rocket lauches upwards as the water shoots out backwards due to the high air pressure forcing it out, creating thrust!
