But often the laws become burdensome and curtail the freedom of a person. One such incident happens in today’s Gospel. My dear friends, here Jesus speaks for and on behalf of the disciple, explaining the spirit of the law. Any law that cripples others is not to be promoted; fairness and non-partiality should be our aim in following any law. My dear family of Mother Mary’s Protection, Law can enhance a relationship only when it is understood for the good of the other. Today’s Gospel helps us to reflect on how we live our lives; Dear friends, let each of us ask, Do I stand for compassion and love even in the most adverse times?
