Homily - Christ The King

The readings for today are: First Reading – Daniel 7:13-14; Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 92(93):1-2,5; Second Reading – Apocalypse 1:5-8; Gospel – John 18:33-37 In the readings accompanying today’s solemnity we hear that Jesus wants to make it understood that above and beyond political power there is another even greater one, which is not obtained by human means. He has come to earth to exercise this power, which is love, by bearing witness to the truth. As citizens of His divine kingdom, we are called to share His love with everyone we meet.
