
Korean style chive pancake (Buchu Jeon)
Hi everyone~ Korean chive pancake or Buchu Jeon is very simple but delicious between meal food or perfect for a side dish. It even goes very well with Korean rice wine called Makgeolli. Ingredients Chive - 300g Plain flour - 1 cup Egg - 1ea Salt - 1/2 tbsp For dipping sauce, Green onion - just a little bit (skip if you don't have) Soy sauce - 1 tbsp Vinegar - 1/3 tbsp Chilli powder - 1 tea spoon 1. Chop chives in 3 - 4cm long and clean up (or clean up before chopping) 2. Add the flour and an egg and salt and mix with water (add water little by little because the thickness of batter is quite important) 3. Heat up pan to medium high heat before frying 4. Fry each side until it gets yummy brown color 5. Make dipping sauce by mixing all the sauce ingredients above 6.
