Across a 20-year period, he becomes prominent as one half of duo Cheers, a group that helps revolutionise club music in France. Along with his friend Greg, Paul pioneers a style of house music known as 'French Touch', one that transforms nightclubs up and down the country. Inspired by true events, this sweeping, sprawling drama charts Paul's rise and fall as he experiences both the glory of success and the bitterness of failure. Shot with a genuine affection for the period by director Mia Hansen-Love, this is a nostalgic snapshot of the time in which Gallic musical culture changed forever.
