Welcome! The title of my artwork in this video is Birds of Paradise. I chose this subject for beginners on how to blend colors using colored pencils. This plant is easy to draw, you can follow on what shade to use from start to finish. Blending colors is important in painting, this is how you will get the right texture and achieve the image of your subject. I usually sketch first to make it easier to paint, then continue blending light to dark shades until you finish.
