The Beatles | And Your Bird Can Sing | Guitar and Bass Cover (Instrumental)

Here is my cover of And Your Bird Can Sing! Been wanting to record this one for a while, and I finally got around to it. It's an essential song for Beatles guitar players, Paul and George's lead guitar harmonies are so fun to play! Hope you enjoy, please subscribe and comment what songs you'd like to see next! And Your Bird Can Sing actually started life as a jangly 12-string tune! This was recorded on April 20 1966, but was scrapped, and a new arrangement was started six days later. Several versions of this original 12-string arrangement can be heard on both the Revolver Super Deluxe and Anthology 2 releases. The main priority for their April 26 session was to start the new version of the song. After thirteen takes, and several instrument changes, take ten was deemed the best. The final lineup had Ringo's drums and John's rhythm guitar on track one, Paul and George's lead guitars on track two, vocals on track three, and bass and tambourine overdubs on track four. Interestingly, the outro of take six was preferred to take ten, so the overdubs had to be recorded again onto take six. The two takes were spliced together during the mixing stage.
