📖 Today's Gospel Thursday, October 23, 2025 | Readings and Reflection of the Day | The Fire That Purifies the Heart Today we meditate on the Gospel of Luke 12:49-53, where Jesus proclaims: “I have come to set the earth on fire, and how I long that it were already kindled!” This fire represents the ardor of the Holy Spirit, the passion for truth, and the conversion that purifies the soul. Christ reminds us that his message leaves no one indifferent: it divides those who love the light from those who prefer darkness.
