5 Things To Never Do As A New Motorcycle Rider!!

👋 Don't Do These as a New Motorcycle Rider! Riding a motorcycle is a whole lot of fun, but if you are new it's not a good idea to get into bad habits! There are some things that will make you a bad rider. Get out of these habits and understand how a motorcycle works, so you can completely enjoy the experience of riding! Today I show you what not to do on my Yamaha R6 while Mike on the CBR600rr shows you what not to do! Don't be crazy out there ;) Riding a motorcycle is one of the most fun things out there. But when you are just starting out be safe and don't make stupid decisions. Motorcycles are inherently dangerous so you need to practice safe riding habits from the beginning. Don't ride your motorcycle at bad times. 1. Late night when it's dark, rush hour, inclement either ect.. Bad weather, poor visibility and heavy traffic are all recipes for less safe riding conditions. Limit riding during those times when you're a new rider to help you focus on simply riding. Slowly work your way into those situations so you can learn how to ride in bad times. But when you're new try and ride in good weather during the day when fewer cars are out. 2. Make sure your kick stand is all the way out so you don't drop your bike. Sounds stupid, but it happens. 3. Don't ride with a passenger. It's a lot harder to balance with an extra 100 lbs on the back of your bike. Much harder to break to slow down too and if your shifting still isn't super smooth, you'll feel their body bumping into you. Understand the bike 100% first, then ad your passenger. 4. Make sure your gear change and braking is done before a turn. Changing gears mid turn can skid your tire, same with being hard on the brakes mid turn. 5. Don't ride with idiots. Riding who like to go fast, break the law and are reckless can encourage you to do stupid things.
