Washington Square Park is a 9.75-acre public park in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Lower Manhattan. It is one of the best known public parks in New York City. Brooklyn Bridge Park Boathouse offers free kayak rentals in Hudson river n20-minute intervals. Make sure you reserve in advance to claim your spot. It is a beautiful way to see the Manhattan skyline! Take the Staten Island Ferry is as close as you can to the Statue of Liberty for free Walk the Brooklyn Bridge A super iconic thing to do while you are there. You can walk other bridges also but this is the most popular Visit Grand Central terminal which was Opened to the public in 1913 and is a world-famous landmark and transportation hub in Midtown Manhattan The High Line is a 1 and a half 5-mile-long elevated linear park that is converted from an old subway. Times Square is a major commercial intersection lined with brightly lit billboards and advertisements. It’s become a huge tourist destination, entertainment center, and neighborhood in the Midtown Manhattan section of New York City which most local try to stay away from. Go Art Gallery Hopping in Chelsea. over 400 galleries in the area so can certainly stay busy because Chelsea certainly offers plenty of choices. Chelsea Market which is located in the heart of New York City's Meatpacking District, is a food and retail marketplace Central park covers 843 acres and is one of the most visited parks in the United States. There are a variety of things that you can do when you are there such as the central park zoo, performers, bridges lakes, sport courts, and more hakespeare in the Park WFree Concerts ARockefeller Center Rockefeller Center is a large complex consisting of 19 commercial buildings covering 22 acres. Radio City, along Sixth Avenue and centered on 30 Rockefeller Plaza, includes Radio City Music Hall and was built for RCA's radio-related enterprises such as NBC. The Metropolitain Musuem of Art MET- Rooftop For New York State residents and NY, NJ, and CT students, the amount you pay for your admission ticket is up to you and this used to be the policy for everyone. You can obviously look at the exhibits but the coolest thing to do is go to the rooftop and get an overlook of central park and the skyline Go to the beach This technically cost subway fair to get to there but you can get to places like Coney Island or Rockaway beach to enjoy some time in the sand.
