Today's Gospel | Friday, November 7, 2025 | Luke 16:1-8 | Word of God

In this Gospel, Jesus presents us with the parable of the shrewd manager, a surprising teaching about wisdom, prudence, and the true use of the goods God entrusts to us. Many believers live distracted lives, while “the children of this world” act decisively. Today, Jesus invites you to awaken, to act with spiritual intelligence, and to put your talents at the service of the Kingdom. 📖 Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke 16:1-8 At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: “There was a rich man who had a manager, and charges were brought to him that this man was wasting his possessions. So he called him in and said to him, “What is this I hear about you? Give an account of your management, because you can no longer be manager.” The manager said to himself, “What shall I do, since my master is taking the management away from me? I’m not strong enough to dig, and I’m ashamed to beg. I know what I’ll do so that, when I’m removed from the management, people will welcome me into their homes.” So he summoned each of his master’s debtors. He asked the first, “How much do you owe my master?” “A hundred barrels of oil,” he replied. “He told him, “Take your bill, sit down quickly, and write fifty.” Then he asked another, “And you, how much do you owe?” “A hundred bushels of wheat,” he replied. “He told him, “Take your bill and write eighty.” And the master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. “For the sons of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own generation than the sons of light.” 🌿Today's Reflection: The dishonest steward is not an example of dishonesty, but of determination in the face of difficulty. Jesus asks us to learn this attitude, but directed toward good: ✅ act with wisdom ✅ plan with intelligence ✅ manage responsibly ✅ use our gifts to love, serve, and grow in holiness Many seek worldly success with more effort than we Christians seek eternal life. That is why Jesus tells you today: Be light, but be an awakened light. Let us ask the Lord for an intelligent faith, a steadfast heart, and a vision that recognizes the opportunities of grace that God gives us each day. 🔔 Subscribe to @CaminamosConCristo Every day we share the Gospel, a reflection, and a word that strengthens your faith. ✨ Share this video so that more people may receive the Word of God. 0:00 Today's Gospel – Introduction 0:07 First Reading – The Proclamation of the Gospel of Christ 1:46 Responsorial Psalm: The Lord Reveals His Salvation to the Nations 2:48 Gospel Reading (Luke 16:1-8) – “Shrewdness for Eternity” 4:20 Gospel Reflection #GospelOfTheDay #DailyGospel #CatholicGospel #WordOfGod #CatholicReflection #GospelOfLuke #Luke16 #SpiritualWisdom #CatholicFaith #DailyReflection #MessageFromGod #WeWalkWithChrist #ActiveFaith #GospelExplained #DailyPrayer Gospel of today, November 7, 2025, Catholic Gospel of the day, Gospel of the day, Luke 16:1-8 explained, parable of the dishonest steward, children of light Gospel, daily Catholic reflection, Word of God today, Catholic Gospel Complete message from God for you today, Gospel explained, today's Mass, we walk with Christ, active faith and spiritual wisdom, daily Catholic prayer
