It is week three of a "Season of Peace" here at Trinity Presbyterian Church! If you haven’t been with us so far, it’s not too late! We began with a Christian definition of peace, not just as the absence of conflict, but the presence of human flourishing. Last week, we lamented that the world isn’t always (ever?) a place conducive to peace that comes from our environment. While we hold our grief over the shakiness and heartbreak of this world, we can also receive the peace that comes from Christ for ourselves. It is a peace that is not rooted in the conditions of the world, but in the love of God that not even death can keep from us. (See the example of Jesus!) This week, we tackle Peace with Others.
