One can considered it as a sun terrace above the Lauterbrunnen valley. It leaves a lasting impression on visitors with its brown-bordered chalets and the breathtaking view of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. In Mürren you will spend an unforgettable vacation without hustle and bustle and noise. Mürren has a year-round population of 450, but has 2,000 hotel beds !! It is a car free village and it cannot be reached by public road. There are two ways to reach Mürren. From Lauterbrunnen, you can take the cableway to Grütschalp. Then change to the narrow gauge train to "Mürren BLM". Or from Stechelberg, you can take the cableway up to Mürren, with a change in Gimmelwald. The cable car station, called "Mürren (Schilthornbahn)". Stechelberg can be reached by bus from Lauterbrunnen. From Müren you can take the cable car to the top of the 2970 m high Schilthorn or you can take funicular to Allmendhubel. As we venture through this picturesque village, you'll be enchanted by its stunning snow-covered landscapes and charming chalets. Take a deep breath and feel the crisp, fresh air surround you as you wander through the narrow streets. The snow-laden rooftops and glittering icicles create a truly awe-inspiring sight. In every direction, majestic mountains adorned in white rise high above the village. Enjoy panoramic views of the Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau, standing proudly against the clear blue sky.
