Daily Gospel - November 28, 2024 (Luke 21:20-28)

Luke 21:20-28 Reflection: This passage is about Jesus warning about Jerusalem’s fall. He mentioned the Gentiles taking over. He told the signs that will precede the events; “the sun, moon and stars will be shaken, and the sea will roar and toss, signifying that the world will be in a chaotic state, out of control.” It is also stated here that after the chaos comes the Son of God. It is emphasized that we should be ready for the His coming and accept God with confidence and believe in Him because our redemption is a blessing. Instead of focusing on the tragedies or difficulties that will come beforehand, we should stand up and lift our heads up.
