Amongst corals and aquatic plants, she finds peace when she listens to music sung by humans in the 1920s on her marine gramophone. The mermaid also likes to play the harp and sing with her beautiful and melodious voice, capable of enchanting any self-respecting human. Anemone is shy and when she sees a submarine, a boat, or a diver she likes to hide and laugh at her new friends. The mermaid's pets are sea turtles and the friendly Momo seahorse. From time to time her best friend, Merwin the dolphin comes along.
