He tells us that all we are and all we do should come from the abundance of good in us. Only a house built on the rock of faith will stand the test of time. Dear friends, if we have not built on a solid rock of faith, it will fall, and fail. My dear friends, Those who only call “Lord, Lord,” but do not do His will are not acknowledged by God. As humans, we fall and fail but we are called to actually—in the power of the Spirit, with evident failings to go for continual confession, repentance, and start a new life. My dear family of Mother Mary’s Protection, many of us strive to protect our name and fame rather than foster a character. Our name and fame are ten percent of who we are and perhaps that which is most visible like a fruit. What is crucial is the roots that are not seen; roots that represent our character and which constitute ninety percent of who we are. Prayer I thank You, Lord, for our Mother Church and all the teachings and traditions of the Church, especially the Sacraments. Through each visible sacrament, God comes to us, enters into our lives, and brings us closer to Him through His Grace. Lord, help us that we may treasure the teachings of Jesus in our hearts and fulfill His will through our lives.
