Is Donkey Kong Country Returns HD Actually Worth it?

I'll be 100% honest, this was made mainly for the opening joke, I thought it was funny. Donkey Kong Country Returns HD is an odd game. In the traditional sense its a fine game, but this particular version of it is where things get weird.
