The cross examination of the state's section 204 witness in the kidnapping and human trafficking trial of Joshlin Smith, is expected to continue today. Lourentia Lombaard told the court that Kelly Smith had confided in her that she had sold Joshlin to a sangoma for 20-thousand rand. Proceedings in the case that seeks to invalidate and halt the analogue switch off will proceed today in the Pretoria High Court. On Tuesday, three applicants namely ETV, Media Monitoring Africa and SOS support public broadcasting argued that the department of Communications and Digital Technologies did not sufficiently consult with them on the scheduled digital migration expected to take place on 31 March 2025.
