Wei is a South Korean boy group under OUI Entertainment. The lineup consists of six members: Daehyeon, Donghan, Yongha, Yohan, Seokhwa, and Junseo. They officially debuted on October 5th, 2020 with the title track ‘TWILIGHT‘. Titled IDENTITY: First Sight, the boy group’s mini-album released last October 7 gives a satisfying taste of what these “rookies” can offer to the music scene as they band together. Composed of members who have previously debuted in groups and as solo artists, Wei showed that they are definitely a rising supergroup in the world of K-Pop. Another showcase of the group’s impressive skills beyond the camera lies in the captivating choreography for “Twilight”. The members were shared to have contributed to creating the sleek dance steps for the song, which were beautifully showcased in its out-of-this-world music video. The clip for “Twilight” spins a beautiful story about two lights that co-exist with each other, as personified by the group being divided in two: the ones who are chasing stars and the ones who are chasing butterflies. Equipped with visually-pleasing scenes and the boys’ extremely ethereal looks and styling, the video compares Wei to twilight, the time where both lights meet. Overall, the solid storytelling gave an added depth to the music video which made it even more interesting for viewers.
