Are we following the Lord willingly and without 'baggage' or do we have distractions around us or as part of our past that stop us following Him? The New Testament reading is from Paul's Letter to the Galatians, Chapter 5, verses 13-25. The Gospel Reading is from the Gospel According to St Luke, Chapter 9, verses 51-end.
