Our particular transmission pan has a drain plug on it from the factory which means it has never been changed since we originally got it because it has been taken care of. it is very important to use the correct ATF for your vehicle. check your owners manual for the correct one. Our older 7.3 liter diesel truck uses Mercon Dextran 3 ATF. Just use a quality fluid from one of the big oil companies.
