All Saints Day ~ Friday of The Thirtieth Week In O.T.✝️St. Cecelia Church, Iselin | Livestream

Homily for All Saints Day (11/1/24.) The Rewarder is soon to appear. No matter what you have to go through and whatever that will be denied you because of it is nothing but garbage compared to the insurmountable reward awaiting for your diligence. The Word of God endures forever, and this is line will be revealed to you in astonishment when the time comes “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him” (I Cor.2:9.) All over the world now, in workplaces, colleges, religious communities, etc, many are abandoning the way of Light, joining the crowd of compromise but how these words of the Lord “strive to enter through the narrow gate” (Lk.13:24) will be the silencer of all who ignore the words when they shall stand before Him. He is fair and just and all who have gone to glory understood that His words are pleasant and serious. They did not compromise even as they climbed the guillotine of inquisition nor when they were asked to turn their throats unto a huge sharp blade for slashing and immolation. Many of us may not have to go through the guillotine of despotic persecutors but their own path of victory might be confronting the inner aggressor, a monstrous appetite for pleasure, getting the job or certificate even if it leads to exposing themselves to nakedness, making money at all costs not minding the way it comes, a resident monster that compels them to compliance to misconducts. The Saints we celebrate today have been crowned for victory won in the grace of God, some of them resisted the external threats of denying Jesus Christ, others tamed the monster seeking gratification within, robbing their consciences of Truth. But God shows mercy to all who repent of these and never to succumb to them again, and they can become great Saints like Augustine. Scripture Rev.22 12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 2. Rev 3 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me. 21 To the one who overcomes, I will grant the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
