Eighteenth Sunday after Pentecost September 22, 2024

Eighteenth Sunday after Pentecost September 22, 2024 AS WE GATHER The need for humility and meekness is prevalent throughout Holy Scripture. Prophecies point to Christ Jesus, who would be slaughtered and killed by men unjustly. And yet, Christ humbled Himself for this purpose. True wisdom from God is couched in complete humility, conveying, above all else, peace. This peace God lays waste warring passions and quarrelsome ways fueled by jealousy and ambition. Only those who are unequivocally the humble servants of all will be first. St. Paul Lutheran Church A Member Congregation of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod We greet and welcome all guests and visitors worshiping with us today.
