Today’s Reflection on the Readings According to today's Gospel reading, faith serves as a link between divinity and humanity. Let's examine how it is being bridged right now. Friends, the centurion who possessed wealth, authority, and status was unable to assist his paralyzed servant who was lying in bed at home. In addition to being helpless, no one in the world could aid in his recovery. At this moment, he recalls Jesus approaching Him with the certainty that He would heal. It occurs as well. Because of the centurion's outstanding faith, even Jesus commended him in front of those who were following Him. I will come and heal him, Jesus promises the centurion. Yes, dear friends, each of us is in some way paralyzed spiritually and physically, including through sickness, anger, peacelessness, misunderstanding, misjudging, hurt, stubbornness, hatred, jealousy, grudges, and other things. Let's offer all of these to Jesus, my dearly loved friends, and fervently pray to Him for healing from each one of them. I will come and heal you, my dearly beloved family of "Mother Mary's Protection," Jesus says to each of us. Because it is our "faith" that moves us to proclaim the name of Jesus, let us also put our faith into practice by pleading with Jesus to be our saviour and the one who heals everyone who is experiencing various types of suffering. Prayer Lord of the universe I give you thanks for the Advent season. I give thanks to you, Lord of Compassion, for all those who have sown the seed of faith in me. Bless each of them, Lord, and grant me the wisdom to follow my heart and reach out to those who need it. Lord, grant that each member of my "Mother Mary's Protection family" may have unwavering faith in your word of healing today. Lord, we pray for everyone who needs your healing hand.
