2025 Update: Friday 7 November to Monday 22 December, 2025 Manchester Christmas Markets 2025 will return to Albert Square the first time since 2019 due to restoration of the Town Hall. Is the Manchester Christmas Market worth a visit? This is my second time checking out the Manchester Christmas Markets! I’ve seen a ton of comments online saying it’s not worth it—same stalls every year, prices through the roof for food and drinks. But honestly, both times I’ve seen so many happy faces—couples, families, friends—all having a good time, enjoying the food, drinks, and the atmosphere.. I think whether it's worth it really depends on what you’re looking to get out of it! More than anything, I think the Christmas Markets are perfect for meeting up with friends after work or on the weekend. In winter, with the short days and cold weather, most people just want to head straight home. But the markets really bring some life and festive vibes to the streets, making it feel a bit more special to be out and about!
