Organ Prelude: Sarabande in D minor G.F. Handel *Hymn: God reveal your presence No. 414 Welcome, Announcements & Worship Theme CALL TO WORSHIP: We who come to worship, O God, are people with passion in our hearts. We are passionate about those we care about and with those we love, passionate about what we do and how we do it, passionate about values, concerns and beliefs too. Passion gives us life and gives colour, joy, creativity, and purpose to our lives. Truly it is an astonishing gift that you have created us to live in and through passion, O God. And yet, passion can sometimes take us into fearful and dangerous places where we can lose control, get swallowed up, hurt others and get hurt ourselves, and lose sight of what is good. Come to us as we worship you, O God. Cleanse, renew, and reinvigorate the passion in us so that we may serve your love and justice with fresh clarity, purpose, and energy. ALL: Let us worship God together! *Hymn: Lead us heavenly Father, lead us No. 647 Prayer of Approach, Confession & The Lord’s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven; Give us this day our daily bread; And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil; For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever.
