Insane Running At The Paris Olympics 2024!

This year at the 2024 Paris Olympics we are going to see a first for distance running. All distance track events including the 800m, 1500m, 5000m and 10000m have people capable of breaking the World record. The women’s 800m is currently dominated by British runners with 3 running the fastest 3 times this season Keely Hodgkinson is fastest with a 1:54.61 which ranks her 6th on the all time list. The men’s 800m has had 4 of top 10 fastest runs in history be recorded in the past few weeks and Djamel Sedjati has looked comfortable running 1:41.46 this season only half a second behind David Rudisha’s world record. Jakob Ingebrigtsens 3:26.73 puts him within 3 quarters of a second of the current 1500m World record and with Josh Kerr looking to repeat what he did last year at the World championships, it will take an extremely fast race to win the Olympic gold. The women’s 1500m already has the World record holder Faith Kipyegon in the race so a chance of another World record is obvious, but theres also Gudaf Tsegay, and Jessica Hull who have both ran 3:50 this season.
