Lesson 8: For November 22, 2025 GIANTS OF FAITH: JOSHUA AND CALEB Saturday, November 15 READ FOR THIS WEEK'S STUDY: Numbers 13:6, 30–32; Joshua 14:6–14; Luke 18:1–5; Joshua 19:49–51; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Romans 12:1, 2. TO MEMORIZE: “Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their lives and imitate their faith” (Heb. 13:7). Every parent knows that children learn by example. That is why many parents are concerned when they see their little ones imitating their bad character traits instead of their good ones. Whatever our age, it is easier for us to do wrong than to do right. That is part of what it means to be fallen beings. “For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate” (Rom. 7:15). Who wouldn't identify with this? From the moment we are born, human beings are molded by the power of example. We learn to do the most basic things in life, like walking, talking, and expressing our emotions, by imitating those closest to us. When we are adults, we still need role models, and even if they are not perfect, we can admire and emulate those spiritual traits that made them giants of faith. This week we will delve deeper into the personal examples of two giants of faith who appear in the book we are studying: Caleb and Joshua. Why did they stand out among their generation and play a key role in the life of God's people during one of the most crucial periods in the history of Israel? #danielherrerajerez #biblelessons #sabbathschool2023 #danielherrerajerez God bless you, brothers and sisters of the Bible Lessons community.
