Saturday Night Fever(1977): Stayin' Alive - Bee Gees Director: John Badham Writers: Nik Cohn, Norman Wexler Stars: John Travolta, Karen Lynn Gorney, Barry Miller 영화 "토요일 밤의 열기"에서 제목의 '밤의 열기'(Night Fever)는 비지스의 동명의 곡에서 말하는 밤의 열병을 가리킵니다. 밤이 깊었지만 몸이 뜨거워 잠을 이루지 못하고, 그 열을 식혀줄 약은 오로지 춤 뿐이라는 내용의 노래입니다. 극 중 등장하는 디스코 음악과 춤이 워낙 유명해 영화의 제목은 누구나 알지만 막상 영화의 내용은 잘 모르는 이들이 많아, 그리스(영화)와 비슷한 밝은 분위기일 것이라 짐작하는 이들도 많은데, 이 영화를 실제로 보면 화려한 춤이나 음악과는 극명하게 대조되는 암울한 스토리에 놀라는 경우도 흔합니다. 2010년부터 미국 의회도서관의 National Film Registry가 영구 보존하는 영화입니다. 가사는 아래와 같습니다.
