Are You Anxious and Worried About Many Things? - Bishop Barron’s Sunday Sermon Are You Anxious and Worried About Many Things? - Bishop Barron’s Sunday Sermon Friends, on this Sixteenth Sunday of Ordinary Time, our Gospel is the Martha and Mary story, and in my years of preaching, I’ve found that it tends to bother people a lot. With the first reading about Abraham in mind, we can better understand what this passage means—and doesn’t mean. Mass Readings: Reading 1 — Genesis 18:1-10a Psalm — Psalm 15:2-3, 3-4, 5 Reading 2 — Colossians 1:24-28 Gospel — Luke 10:38-42 ———VIDEO LINKS——— The Transcendent Body | Fr.
