QT sharing Text: Genesis 17:15-22 Title: God Who Loved Sarah There is no one whom God does not love. God does not alienate a person from his love. God truly loves everyone. There is no gender discrimination between men and women in God. However, although the difference in divine mission between men and women is different, there is no discrimination in God's love for people. God also gave Sarai grace and love, along with Abram. Just as God changed Abram to Abraham, Sarai changed her name to “Sarah,” meaning "Princess." This is because ten kings will come out of Sarah's descendants (6,15,16). And God told Abram that God would bless Sarai as well (16). God said that Sarah would give birth to a son and become the mother of many nations, and many kings would come out of it. At this time, while listening to the word of God who blessed Sarai, Abraham fell on his face and laughed and muttered suspiciously, "Will a son be born to a man a hundred-years-old? Will Sarah bear a child at the age of ninety?" And Abraham said to God, “If only Ismael might live under your blessing!” (18). As Abraham thinks of Sarah and Ishmael, he speaks of Ishmael as his heir to God, but God clearly spoke to Abraham. "Yes! but your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac” (19). God told Abraham that God had a clear plan for Sarah, even telling her the name of the son she would give birth to, and telling her to firmly believe. Sarah was Abraham's wife, a ninety-year-old woman with no power. But God gave her a son and named him Isaac. This was a word of great hope to Sarai and all humans. And God saw Abraham's love and concern for Ishmael and promised Ishmael the blessing of prospering very much. God is the God of love who gives promises and blessings so that Abram will not worry about Ishmael. In particular, God has a lot of special interest in women. Abraham had no hope for Sarah, but God had a special plan and interested her. God has an interest and plan for each of us. If we love God and follow God's Word, we can live happily and live without regret in God's blessing. Dear Lord! Thank God for loving Sarah. We are grateful to believe that God loves all of us and has love and plans for each of us. Thank God for your grace and love. Hallelujah Amen! 하나님은 사랑하지 않는 사람이 없습니다. 하나님은 그의 사랑에서 한 사람도 소외시키지 않으십니다. 하나님은 참으로 모든 사람을 사랑하십니다. 하나님에게는 남녀의 성차별이 없습니다. 남녀 간의 영적 사명의 차이는 다를지라도 하나님이 사람을 사랑하시는 데는 차별이 없으십니다. 하나님은 사래에게도 아브람과 함께 은혜와 사랑을 주셨습니다. 하나님은 아브람을 아브라함으로 바꿔 주셨듯이 사래의 이름은 열 왕들의 어미라는 뜻을 가진 “사라”로 바꿔 주셨습니다. 이것은 사라의 후손들 중에 열 왕들이 나올 것이기 때문입니다(6,15,16). 그리고 하나님은 아브람에게 사래에게도 복을 주신다고 말씀하셨습니다(16). 사래는 아들을 낳을 것이며 여러 민족의 어머니가 될 것이고 그로부터 많은 왕들이 나올 것이라고 말씀하셨습니다. 이 때 아브라함은 사래에게 축복하신 하나님의 말씀을 들으면서 엎드려 웃으며 속으로 “백세 된 사람이 어찌 자식을 낳을까 사래는 구십세니 어찌 출산하리요”라고 의심스러운 마음으로 중얼거렸습니다. 그리고 하나님께 “이스마엘이나 하나님 앞에서 살기를 원합니다”(18)라고 솔직한 마음을 말했습니다. 사래와 이스마엘이 생각하는 것처럼 아브라함도 이스마엘을 자신의 상속자로 하나님께 말씀드리지만 하나님은 아브라함에게 분명히 말씀하셨습니다. “아니다! 네 아내 사라가 네게 아들을 낳으리니 이름을 이삭이라 하라”(19)고 하셨습니다. 하나님은 사래에 대한 분명한 계획이 있으심을 그녀가 낳을 아들의 이름까지 말씀하시며 견고하게 믿도록 말씀하셨습니다. 사래는 아브라함의 아내로서 아무 힘도 없는 구십 세 된 노인이었습니다. 그러나 하나님은 그가 아들을 낳을 것이라 말씀하시며 이름을 이삭으로 지어 주셨습니다. 이것은 사래와 모든 인간에게 주시는 큰 소망의 말씀이었습니다. 그리고 하나님은 아브라함의 이스마엘에 대한 사랑과 염려를 보시며 이스마엘에게도 매우 크게 번성하리라는 축복을 약속해 주셨습니다. 하나님은 아브람이 이스마엘에 대해서 염려하지 않도록 약속과 축복을 주시는 사랑의 하나님이십니다. 특별히 하나님은 여성에 대해서 각별한 관심이 많으십니다. 아브람은 사라에게 소망이 없었지만 하나님은 특별한 계획과 관심을 가지고 계셨습니다. 하나님은 우리 한 사람 한 사람에 대한 관심과 계획이 있으십니다. 하나님을 사랑하며 하나님의 말씀을 따르면 우리는 하나님의 축복 안에서 행복하고 후회 없는 인생을 살아갈 수 있습니다. 사랑의 주님! 사래를 사랑하시는 하나님 감사를 드립니다. 하나님은 우리 모두를 사랑하시고 우리 각자에 대한 사랑과 계획을 가지고 계심을 믿고 감사드립니다. 하나님의 은혜와 사랑을 감사드립니다. 할렐루야 아멘!
