Close Friends

The story behind the break-up in S1, completely AU. Lucas never cheated on Brooke with Peyton, but Brooke cheated on him with Felix. When Lucas finds out about that, Brooke is afraid about her reputation when that's going to become public knowledge and so starts the rumor of Lucas with Peyton and even uses Nikki to ruin his reputation even more, so that no one believes him the story with Brooke and Felix. Lucas' former friends all turn their backs on him, since they can't believe that he would cheat on Brooke in the first place and then even make up lies about her. Peyton of course knows that nothing happened between Lucas and her, but thinks that everything is just a big misunderstanding. Till everything is cleared up and to not get Brooke even more mad, she goes on distance with Lucas as well. Lucas looses all his friends, even though he didn't do anything.
