TODAY'S GOSPEL: Matthew 1:16, 18-21, 24a The Gospel of Matthew reminds us about the importance of the family in the formation of our faith. When we take a look at the life of Christ, we see that in His youth, it was the holy family who helped Him discover His mission. The role of the father, especially, is very important. In the same way that St. Joseph helped mold the Lord and keep the holy family together, may we be like him and respond “Yes” when God calls us to mission.
